Contemporary Latinas are taking center stage in 21st century America. They are more bicultural, bilingual, educated, and affluent than ever before. Idelisse Malavé, co-author of Latino Stats, will participate on a panel titled "The Next Majority: Latinas Rising" to discuss how America is impacted, influenced, and inspired by the powerful demographic trend that is the rising Latina majority. Fellow panelists include Manuela Arciniegas, the Senior Program Associate at the Andrus Family Fund, and Maria Hinojosa, anchor and executive producer of Latino USA on NPR. The panel will be moderated by Lisa Quiroz, Senior Vice President and Corporate Responsiblity and Chief Diversity Officer at Time Warner Inc. and the chair of the Corporation for National and Community Service's board of directors.
