Erika Wolf is an associate professor in the department of history and art history at the University of Otago, New Zealand. A visual historian and cultural critic, she is the author of Koretsky: The Soviet Photo Poster: 1930–1984 (The New Press) and Ilf and Petrov’s American Road Trip: The 1935 Travelogue of Two Soviet Writers. She has contributed articles to Aperture and Photofile. She lives near Antarctica.
