Join Greg Jobin-Leeds, Micah Bazant, an internationally-recognized trans visual artist and Artist In Residence at FORWARD TOGETHER, who works with social justice move-ments to reimagine the world and artists, activists and funders for Lunch & Discussion on how individuals can get involved in their own communities and support social justice movements.
There will be a moving art by Micah Bazant and a participa-tory conversation to explore what are helpful and harmful ways to support and fund the cutting edge frontline activists and artists of our time:
- What are the “DO’S AND DON’TS”.
- What are the QUALITIES OF EFFECTIVE SOLIDARITY (love, accountability, mutuality, etc.); and
- Who are the PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING IT WELL?
- What are the TOOLS for the many PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GET MORE INVOLVED but may lack the political education or anti-oppression trainings.
