The Schomburg Center is hosting a conversation about intersectionality and police violence with Paul Butler, author of Chokehold: Policing Black Men, and Andrea Ritchie, author of Invisible No More: Police Violence Against Black Women and Women of Color. Moderated by Khalil Gibran Muhammad, professor of history, race, and public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, the discussion will bring together policy research and civic engagement.
