Monday, April 30, 2018

The New Jim Crow author Michelle Alexander and Sherrilyn Ifill, co-author with Bryan Stevenson, Loretta Lynch and Tony Thompson of the recently released A Perilous Path: Talking Race, Inequality, and the Law, were featured in a conversation moderated by Jelani Cobb at the inauguration of the Equal Justice Initiative’s new lynching museum and memorial in Montgomery, Alabama.  Copies of A Perilous Path were distributed to guests at the opening ceremony, and New Press books on racial justice issues are displayed prominently in the Museum bookstore.
