Please join Amr Kotb, TIMEP’s advocacy manager, and Jack Shenker, author of The Egyptians: A Radical History of Egypt’s Unfinished Revolution, for an insightful discussion that not only addresses Egypt’s resistance movements and long-term struggles for change but also the global trends and shifts in leadership which contextualize Egypt’s future.

The Egyptians: A Radical History of Egypt’s Unfinished Revolution, recently released in the United States, is a book by Jack Shenker, former Egypt correspondent for the Guardian, in which he examines the roots of Egypt’s revolution, arguing for a much more nuanced and far-reaching view of the forces that are reshaping the region.
