Parsimony and Other Radical Ideas About Justice at Busboys and Poets
Join Busboys and Poets for a launch event to celebrate the publication of Parsimony and Other Radical Ideas About Justice, a new collection that envisions a justice system that combines the least possible punishment with the greatest possible healing. NPR national justice correspondent Carrie Johnson will moderate a discussion with editors Jeremy Travis and Bruce Western and contributor Anamika Dwivedi.
The event will begin with a spoken word performance by Halim Flowers.
Parsimony and Other Radical Ideas About Justice is published in partnership with the Square One Project, an endeavor of the Columbia Justice Lab, to reimagine justice policy in the United States.
