The Labor and Working Class History Association's Pandemic Book Talks hosts historian Marjoleine Kars for a conversation about her new book Blood on the River: A Chronicle of Mutiny and Freedom on the Wild Coast, the former Dutch colony of Berbice (located in modern day Guyana), and the 1763 revolt of enslaved persons’ that nearly changed the face of the Americas.
