Wenonah Hauter

Wenonah Hauter is a longtime public interest advocate working on energy, environmental, and agricultural issues. She is the founder and executive director of
Food & Water Watch, a watchdog group with offices around the United States that focuses on corporate and government accountability and was the first national
advocacy organization to support a ban on fracking. She is the author of Foodopoly: The Battle Over the Future of Food and Farming in America and Frackopoly: The Battle for the Future of Energy and the Environment (both published by The New Press). She and her husband own a farm in Virginia.
