Marc Rotenberg is president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC). He served as counsel to Senator Patrick Leahy on the Senate Judiciary Committee and teaches at Georgetown University Law Center. EPIC is a public interest research group in Washington, D.C., established to focus public attention on emerging civil liberties issues in the information age. A co-editor, with Jeramie Scott and Julia Horwitz, of Privacy in the Modern Age: The Search for Solutions (The New Press), he lives in Washington, D.C.
