Keenan Norris is the author of several books including Chi Boy: Native Sons and Chicago Reckonings, the novella Lustre, the novels The Confession of Copeland Cane (winner of the 2022 Northern California Book Award in fiction) and Brother and the Dancer (winner of the James D. Houston Award), as well as The Two-Million-Person Experiment: Community College and the New American Dream (The New Press). He is an associate professor at San Jose State University and lives in San Jose, California.
