Jessica Clark is the founder and director of Dot Connector Studio, a production company that links media, strategy, and tech for social impact. From 2011 to 2013, she served as AIR’s media strategist and as a member of the core team for the transmedia production Localore. From 2007 to mid-2011, she directed the Future of Public Media initiative at American University’s Center for Social Media and contributed to a number of related projects: helping to launch the Public Media Corps, co-organizing the Beyond Broadcast and Public Media Camp conferences, and writing regularly for PBS MediaShift. A longtime independent journalist, Clark has co-authored several influential publications on media futures, including, with Tracy Van Slyke, Beyond the Echo Chamber: Reshaping Politics Through Networked Progressive Media (The New Press). She lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
