James Ridgeway

James Ridgeway (1936–2021) was an investigative journalist for more than fifty years and was the author of seventeen previous books. He was a co-director of Solitary Watch and a Soros Justice Fellow and a co-editor, with Jean Casella and Sarah Shourd, of Hell Is a Very Small Place: Voices from Solitary Confinement (The New Press).
