Daniel C. Maguire is a professor in the department of theology at Marquette University and the president of the Religious Consultation on Population, Reproductive Health, and Ethics. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic, and USA Today and he has written several books, including Sacred Choices: The Right to Contraception and Abortion in Ten World Religions and Whose Church?: A Concise Guide to Progressive Catholicism (The New Press). He lives in Wisconsin.
