Frank Ackerman

Frank Ackerman is a principal economist at Synapse Energy Economics, a public interest–oriented consulting firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a lecturer in climate and energy policy in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has held research positions at the Stockholm Environment Institute’s U.S. Center, at Tufts University’s Global Development and Environment Institute, and at the Tellus Institute. He has taught at Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts. He is the author of Priceless: On Knowing the Price of Everything and the Value of Nothing (The New Press) and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
