The Sentencing Project's executive director Marc Mauer will speak about his latest book The Meaning of Life: The Case for Abolishing Life Sentences and the national campaign to end life imprisonment. His talk will be followed by a panel discussion including people who have served life sentences. This is a free event open to the public.
