Ron Howell is currently a reporter for Newsday and over the past twenty years has also been a writer for the Associated Press, Ebony, the New York Daily News, and the Baltimore Evening Sun.  For eight of those years he was a foreign correspondent.  He lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Ozier Muhammad is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer for the New York Times.  He has previously worked for Newsday and Ebony.  He lives in New York City.
