Noliwe Rooks, author of Cutting School: Privatization, Segregation, and the End of Public Education, will be participating in a panel discussion at the Schomburg Center titled “Black Resistance to Trump Tyranny.” 

Rooks will be joined by Haki R. Madhubuti (publisher, educator, and founder of Third World Press) and Michael Simanga (activist cultural worker, artist, and scholar in African American art and culture). This event is free and open to the public.
